Cowboy ASMR (Fire Sounds, Smoking, Soft Spoken)

A cowboy joins you at a campfire to regale you with a tall tale about gunmen, the law, and bank robbers. The fire crackles as he speaks to you in a suspiciously British Texan accent, as the crickets and coyotes patrol the perimeter. Who is this stranger? And what does he want with you?

This ASMR experience wears its Red Dead Redemption references on its sleeve, and contains lost of triggers associated with the Old West. The cowboy smokes cigarettes as he speaks in a soft-spoken voice, and there’s a lovely campfire sound in the background, as well as a relaxing nighttime desert backdrop. The story itself is one I’ve adapted from one Aeschylus’ Greek Tragedies (can you guess which one?) and I really enjoyed trying to evoke the whole Wild West feel in the blistering British heat.
