"Good Luck with the Radio Show." - A Hazbin Hotel Fan Animatics featuring Alastor

After a tiring month, I have finally finished the second animatics of my Hazbin Hotel OC x Alastor. I hope you all will like it. :')

The story takes place earlier in Alastor's life, around 1920s when he first started out in diving into the radio showbiz, showing the time he had with my OC, Celia or Marcella, up till her unforeseen demise. Obviously the main story is sad, but I try to include some light moments between them, because I am a hopeless romantic at heart. xD

Thanks to one commenter, I think in Tiktok, that suggested the song at the end, I think I pretty much revolved the whole animatics based on that song choice.

For this one, I just wanted to build on place and setting a little bit more, so I thought it'd be fun to include some minor characters, as well as one major supporting character as well to tell this story. I'm not that familiar with the USA/Louisiana locations or culture but I tried my best. I apologize if there are any mistakes or whatnot.

I tried my best to make it understandable but I try to leave some things up to the viewers' interpretation as well. And of course, doing these animatics is not just for fun, but to exercise my visual filmmaking knowledge and skills as well, and including sound design skills too, which I'm not that great at, but it's a ton of fun to do.

Side note:
For the image at the end there, the first one was an idea of mine where I imagined Alastor teaching her to write and read better, since Cella is of a lower class and living in rural area, basically labelled a swamp girl and didn't finish school due to having to work to survive, while Alastor I assume is a fully educated man but having to live as a mixed Creole man back in those days where discrimination and segregation was still rampant. I thought it'd be nice to sketch out a cute moment like that while thinking about the struggles they've gone through living in that era, and maybe sharing some of that burden together.

The 2nd picture is just their happy ending, reunited in hell and catching up after a long time. Because this whole animatics was sad to do. :(
