The Trailerpark Sunburst… A Down N’ Dirty Alcohol & Dye Finish

The other day my friend Don and his lovely wife, Theresa, stopped over to play guitars and drink beer. I had just shot this video for a quick and dirty sunburst job that is a cool, fun and ridiculously uncomplicated way to turn a plane vanilla Strat body into something a little more respectable. Since Don was in a band called The Trailerpark Playboys I decided to call this finish “The Trailerpark Sunburst” in his honor. We will be offering this finish on the Daily Driver models for just a few dollars more.
So, get yourself a shot of Ol’ No. 7 and have a peek at this sneaky way to do a sunburst without the hassle of paints.
