羅大佑（1954年7月20日－），出生於中華民國台北市，苗栗縣客家人，二十世紀華語流行音樂詞曲作家、男歌手、電影配樂、編曲、作家、醫師。1976年羅大佑進入樂壇[1]，從此在流行、搖滾、民謠等音樂流派中，屢屢創新，影響了台灣、中國大陸、香港等華語地區幾代音樂人的創作。羅大佑的作品將搖滾與東方美學相結合，富於批判和社會啟蒙意識及大時代感，堪稱華語樂壇的豐碑。[2]羅大佑素常將流行音樂與文學相融合，使流行音樂成為與電影、文學、古典音樂平等的藝術形式。[3]他的音樂風格多變，意境廣闊，歌詞文學性高且兼具批判性，被廣泛認為是華語流行音樂與台灣音樂界的最重量級人物[4]，有「流行音樂教父」之稱。

Luo Dayou (July 20, 1954 -), born in Taipei City, Republic of China, Hakka in Miaoli County, 20th century Chinese pop music songwriter, male singer, film score, arranger, writer, physician.
