Mare di Nuvole sull'Agner | Bivacco Biasin | Pale di San Martino

Video dell'escursione sul monte Agner (2872 metri), nell'estremità orientale delle Pale di San Martino e famoso per la sua parete settentrionale di più di 1500 metri di dislivello verticale, la più alta delle Dolomiti e tra le maggiori delle Alpi. Siamo partiti da sopra il paese di Frassenè e attraverso il sentiero 771 abbiamo raggiunto il rifugio Scarpa Gurekian, situato lungo la costa d'Agarei a quota 1735 metri. Dopo una breve pausa abbiamo intrapreso la Via del Canalone che attraverso tratti attrezzati porta alla forcella del Pizzon a 2650 metri, che divide l'Agner dai Lastei. Qui si apre la vista su tutte le Pale ed è situato il bivacco Biasin, dove abbiamo pernottato. Per salire in cima occorrono ancora 200 metri di dislivello e la prima parte è una ferrata. Siamo saliti due volte, al tramonto e all'alba e lo spettacolo di colori è stato incredibile, soprattutto la mattina quando abbiamo assistito a uno spettacolare mare di nuvole che si estendeva a perdita d'occhio, sicuramente una delle albe più belle che abbiamo mai visto. Dopo essere rientrati al bivacco, abbiamo ripercorso il sentiero dell'andata. Escursione di circa 13 km e 1900 metri di dislivello.

Video of the hike to Mount Agner (2,872 metres), at the eastern end of the Pale di San Martino and famous for its northern face with a vertical drop of more than 1500 metres, the highest in the Dolomites and among the highest in the Alps. We set off from above the village of Frassenè and followed trail 771 to reach the Scarpa Gurekian hut, located along the Agarei ridge at an altitude of 1735 metres. After a short break, we took the Via del Canalone, which leads through equipped sections to the Pizzon saddle at 2650 metres, which divides the Agner from the Lastei. Here, there is a view of all the Pale group and the Biasin bivouac, where we spent the night. To reach the summit, there is another 200-metre climb, the first part of which is a via ferrata. We climbed twice, at sunset and at dawn, and the spectacle of colours was incredible, especially in the morning when we witnessed a spectacular sea of clouds stretching as far as the eye could see, certainly one of the most beautiful sunrises we have ever seen. After returning to the bivouac, we retraced our steps along the path we had taken on the way up. The hike was about 13 kilometres long with an elevation gain of 1,900 metres.
