Fellrunning the Cairngorms 4000 Feet Peaks

In this twelth episode I head north to The Cairngorms National Park to tackle the Cairngorm 4000's. The classic fellrunning route is about 28km long and starts from Glenmore Lodge and finishes at the Cairngorm Mountain car park. My route will start and finish at the car park to form a loop and is 35km long with 2500m of elevation gain. I will travel clockwise and climb the following five 4000 foot peaks: Braeriach, Sgòr an Lochain Uaine, Cairn Toul, Ben Macdui and Cairn Gorm.
