【あぢさゐ回廊】アクセス、渋滞、駐車場は？大仏と紫陽花の絶景!!ぶらり旅 第388回 「奈良県：壺阪寺(南法華寺)」-関西,紫陽花、hydrangea,Tsubosaka Temple-

ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2023年6月に奈良県高取町にある「壺阪寺(南法華寺)」に行きました。

真言宗系単立の寺院。山号は壺阪山。本尊は十一面千手観世音菩薩。
一般には壺阪寺の通称で知られる。
西国三十三所第6番札所。大宝三年（703）に元興寺の僧弁基上人がこの山で修行していたところ、愛用の水晶の壺を坂の上の庵におさめ、感得した
観音様のお姿を模刻してまつったのが始まりといわれる。
後に元正天皇の祈願寺となった。
平安時代、京都の清水寺が北法華寺と呼ばれるのに対し当寺は南法華寺と呼ばれ、長谷寺とともに古くから観音霊場として栄えた。

開門閉門時間：午前8：30 ～ 午後5：00まで

　　　　幼児(5歳以下)　無料


・壷阪観音お身拭い特別結縁参拝
眼病封じで知られる壷阪寺の本尊・十一面千手観音菩薩像に触れて、ご縁を結ぶことができます。
十一面千手観音菩薩像は寄せ木造りで室町時代作。
「眼の仏」として信仰を集めており、正面向かって右の赤い玉を持った手が眼の苦しみから救う御手といわれているそうです。

I would like to introduce a place where I went out for a while.
In June 2023, I went to "Tsubosaka Temple (Minamihokkeji Temple)" in Takatori Town, Nara Prefecture.

An independent temple of the Shingon sect. The mountain name is Mt. Tsubosaka. The principal object of worship is the eleven-faced, thousand-armed Kanzeon Bodhisattva.
It is commonly known as Tsubosaka-dera Temple.
Saigoku Sanjusansho No. 6 Fudasho. In the 3rd year of the Taiho era (703), when Benki Shonin, a monk of Gangoji Temple, was training on this mountain, he placed his favorite crystal jar in the hermitage on the hill, and was inspired by it.
It is said that it started with engraving the image of Kannon.
It later became a prayer temple for Emperor Gensho.
During the Heian period, Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto was called North Hokke-ji Temple, while this temple was called Minami Hokke-ji Temple.

Opening and closing times: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

・Tsubosaka Kannon Omiwiping Special Bonding Worship
You can touch the 11-faced, 1,000-armed Kannon Bodhisattva statue of Tsubosaka-ji Temple, which is known for its ability to ward off eye diseases.
The 11-faced, 1000-armed Kannon Bodhisattva statue is made of marquetry and was made in the Muromachi period.
It is worshiped as the "Buddha of the Eye", and it is said that the hand holding the red ball on the right side facing the front is the hand that saves from the pain of the eyes.
