This is Part 1 of a 3 Part interview with Ajahn Achalo, abbot of Anandagiri Forest Monastery, Thailand. In this part, Ajahn Achalo gives an autobiographical account of how and why he was first drawn to Thailand and what it was that then drew him to practice in India.
