M1 Mac Mini set up with the 49" Super Ultra wide Samsung monitor. Trying to get maximum resolution and refresh rate but replacing HDMI cable with Thunderbolt 3 to Display port cable. Some successes in refresh rate but no progress with resolution and a bizarre way that the Mac OS presents two very different ways of working depending on the cable!
