Winter Sun - Acrylic Painting Tutorial

Join me as I paint this winter river scene. I'm using one of my own paintings as a reference this time.

I'm painting with Golden Acrylic paints on an 8" x 10" stretched canvas.
The colors are: Titanium White, Hansa Yellow Medium, Indian Yellow, Napthol Red Light, Ultramarine Blue and Pthalo Blue (green shade)

I'm using "bright" brushes, "flat" brushes work fine, too, in a firm synthetic. The sizes are 6, 4, and 2, or about 1/2" wide, 3/8" wide, and 1/4" wide. I'm also using a long, thin "liner" or "rigger" brush, and a number 4 round.

You don't have to have these exact materials to work with, use what you have! You will want at least a red, yellow and blue and white. If you have a green, that will be useful too!

Most of all, it's about enjoying the process of painting, and spending some happy hours playing with color :)
