Re-recorded this video since the audio went kaput on the previous upload. I often get variations of the question "Why are you still Gardnerian?" The reasons for the question vary depending on who's asking: some people wonder why I'd put the effort into trying to start a Gardnerian coven in Utah rather than just finding a coven here in another tradition, others are confused about why a gay man would participate in a tradition that has a history of heteronormativity, and still others think that Gardnerian Wicca is just worthless to begin with. I don't have a great answer to this question, except to say that Gardnerian ritual makes me feel whole in a way that nothing else does.
