Jack Smith asks Supreme Court to rule promptly on Trump's claim that he is above the law

Special Counsel Jack Smith has filed an unusual request: he's asked the US Supreme Court to immediately take up the issue of Donald Trump's claim that can not be prosecutors for the crimes he committed while president. Smith wants to leapfrog the case over the DC federal circuit court of appeals and have the Supreme Court resolve the issue quickly so the case can proceed to trial on March 4 (assuming the court rejects Trump's claim that he is above the law).
This video takes on the legal and the common sense implications of Trump's assertion that a president can't be prosecuted of his crimes.
