For I Am Convinced | Acts 7 & 8 | Carson Goslee

Throughout the story of Acts, we encounter people who were convinced that Jesus was who He said He was, and as a result, they played their entire lives down for the sake of what God wanted to do. For every person who follows Jesus, our next move is always to lay down our lives and trust that nothing will ever come close to comparing to the love of Jesus.

In Acts 7, we see Stephen’s response to the leaders of that day and how he boldly proclaimed that God has come to dwell in the heart of every believer and that our ultimate authority is Jesus. When we become fully convinced on this reality, we are able to proclaim the name of Jesus in every circumstance and experience a joy that isn’t found anywhere else.
