She showed us that man and bear can coexist, and raised 18 cubs and changed people's lives while doing it. Grizzly 399 was truly one of a kind, and I feel so fortunate to have been able to spend time with her. The Tetons will never be the same. Rest in peace, Queen. You will be adored and missed forever.
