In this special holiday episode of Beyond the Arches, Dr. Daniel Noorthoek is joined by Lilia Blickle for a warm, end-of-year recap. Together, they reflect on the year's most significant wins at Done In One and the culture that has helped the team grow while staying closely connected.

They highlight major milestones across the organization, including the rapid growth of the Tampa location (more than doubling revenue since acquisition), the expansion and consolidation of the periodontal team, and the launch of the Jacksonville office—a massive new 5,000 sq. ft. space with 12 operatories, multiple consult rooms, a hygiene base, and room to scale both EverySmile general dentistry and Done In One full-arch care.

A key theme of the conversation is culture: why it matters, how it’s intentionally built, and how it makes growth smoother, training more effective, and work more enjoyable. Dr. Dan and Lilia share behind-the-scenes moments from their trips to Jacksonville for hands-on training—van rides, movies, games—and how those trips have strengthened the team.

They also recap the annual Christmas party, which has grown from a small private gathering years ago into an 80+ person celebration spanning multiple offices and the lab team. This year’s event included games, a scavenger-hunt-style giveaway, and a grand-prize cruise, plus lots of laughter, emotional moments, and surprisingly memorable food (including tomahawks and prime rib cooked by Dr. Dan for the whole crowd).
