The grave of Brigadier Usman, known as the Lion of Nowshera, was damaged by vandals. He led his men to retrieve Rajouri and Jhanjhar from Pakistan in 1948 war. He was offered by Jinnah to lead Pak army but he refused and never left Indian army. He is an army hero in J&K.
