Sometimes there's nothing better than to sit back and enjoy a noisey, low-level display by a jet fighter/trainer aircraft. Turn the volume up for this one an listen to the engine roar!
The Aero L-39 Albatros is a high-performance jet trainer developed by Aero Vodochody in Czechoslovakia. It was designed during the 1960s as a replacement for the Aero L-29 Delfín as a principal training aircraft, and in some countries it was also used as a low-level strike aircraft.
The L-39 is shown here during a display at Ardmore Aerodrome, Auckland, New Zealand.
