jimin ─ was it wrong?

HD is your best friend.

This FMV took my dead-ass almost four days to edit and a few more days to find the appropriate voice actors.

When the highlight reel got uploaded, it hit me like a truck and I had an idea right away! I asked one of my closest friends (who is a voice actor) if he knew someone that had a higher voice than himself. Luckily, he managed to find someone really quickly! Thank you so much to my dearest friend for this, I love you so much!

I started editing right away that night and I struggled to make the first scenes alone. Unfortunately, almost nothing would work out how I had imagined it and I was close to breaking down. I also made some of the sound effects myself, which was absolute HORROR! I went to the bathroom at two o’clock in the morning and recorded all of the SFX that I needed (Jimin washing his hands, Jimins movements in the bathtub, etc.)

During the next few days, I continued to struggle due to the fact that some scenes were simply too short. I needed to slow-motion them to 1% in AE (I struggled with this late into the night as well).

Then I realised that I needed a female voice actor and I decided to ask you all, as my dear subbies. I had NO IDEA HOW TALENTED ARMYS ARE in voice acting. It was so HARD to choose between all those good voice actors and I have to apologise to a lot of you for failing to reply. I got awfully stressed and my email was laggy AF so I wasn’t able to contact you back with ease!

After a few days, I was finally able to choose a female voice actor and she did such a great job! She gave this edit a lot of emotion and I got intense goosebumps. The male voice actor caused the same response. He had such a calming voice, which I thought was perfect for the video. His voice was deeper than I had initially expected but I still thought he was so INCREDIBLE! It was as though his voice was in your head and I loved that vibe so much!

At this point, I’d like to say thank you SO MUCH to both of the voice actors for doing such an AMAZING JOB!
