I always struggle to edit anything out of my videos. I want to show all of it. The sounds. The sights. What it felt like to be there. I also want the finished vlog to be exciting and interesting. Not boring and not too long.

The finished videos can be shiny. The unedited versions can be rough.

These unedited videos contain all my footage with minimal cuts and no music. (Although I am using the word "unedited," they are 100% edited.) It is all my footage and memories in one place. They are just for me. So I can rest assured nothing goes to waste. It makes every moment important. Because it was.

Welcome to Embarkation Day of our Alaskan Disney Cruise! Join my family and I on our 7-Night Alaskan Cruise from Vancouver on the Disney Wonder! Thank you so much for watching!

You join us on Monday, September 12, 2022, for embarkation day! We woke up to the Disney Wonder docked right outside our hotel room window! We stayed for one night at the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel and the view was absolutely amazing. We had some Tim Hortons treats for breakfast, and then I ventured downstairs to get some close-ups of our girl, the Disney Wonder.

We checked out of our room at the Pan Pacific and walked right downstairs to the cruise terminal. We checked in, went through security and customs, and waited for our boarding group to be called.

We boarded at 12:08 PM and were greeted by the one and only Minnie Mouse! After scanning our assembly station on our Disney Cruise Line app, we had lunch at Tiana's Place, which turned out to be one of our favorite meals of the entire cruise!

We checked out the Oceaneer Club, it's a small world nursery, and the Oceaneer Lab. Our staterooms were ready at 2:40 PM, so Dad and I checked them out! As we opened our stateroom doors, we were greeted with some stateroom gifts from Dad!

Mom and Dad had an ocean view stateroom with veranda. Liz and I had an inside stateroom across the hall. It was our first time not sharing one stateroom. Liz and I absolutely loved our cozy inside stateroom! We found the layout to be much better than the ocean view room. There seemed to be so much more room for activities!

After a quick stop in Cove Cafe, we attended the Senses Spa Raffle, which Liz won! She won $50 off any treatment that costed over $100.

We showed Mom and Liz our staterooms and got to work decorating our doors. We unpacked a little and then made our way up to deck 10 for Mickey's Sail-A-Wave Party! After officially sailing away, we watched the Vancouver scenery go by.

Dad got ice cream, then Liz and I stopped for pastries in Cove Cafe. We brought Mom her favorite cranberry slice as we watched more of Vancouver pass by on our veranda.

We shopped at White Caps and Mickey's Mainsail to snag any Alaska merchandise before it sold out. After an excellent haul by Liz, we went back up to Deck 9 for some hot tea and hot chocolate as the sun set.

We had dinner at Animator's Palate with a special appearance by king Sorcerer Mickey. After dinner, we explored the After Hours adult lounges. The mozzarella sticks from Crown & Fin Pub were a huge highlight of Mom's whole cruise! We did some more exploring and found the Wonder pin in the shops! Then, it was time for bed!
