Over the next 10 years, who do you think will make more money - North Indians or South Indians?
If you divide India physically, you’ll see that there is a Peninsular India in the south, which comprises of 7 states - Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangaga.
Just these 7 states combined out of the total 28 states and 8 UTs...
👉🏼 Have 30% of the country’s population
👉🏼 Contribute 45% of the country’s GDP
👉🏼 Contributing to 60% of the growth of the country
The per capita income in these 7 states is...
👉🏼 INR 2.8L (i.e. USD 3.3k) p.a., which is ~50% higher than the rest of the country
👉🏼 If India’s GDP is growing between 5-6% p.a. - Peninsular India alone is growing at 8-9% p.a.
👉🏼 The IT industry in Bangalore, Chennai and Pune
👉🏼 Manufacturing in Tamil Nadu and Andhra, Telangana
Purely on account of macro-economic factors, South India is the fastest growing region in the world... not just in India... in the world!
And this is North India still getting the benefit of all the numbers from Gujarat.
If we were to shift Gujarat to peninsular India, the North has practically nothing other than Gurgaon real estate prices to boast of.
