I have to sell it this unfortunately. I haven't driven since May 2023. Brain tumor got in my way. I'll never be to drive again. I'm in Peoria, AZ (suburan of Phoenix) and looking a Ham to purchase. I'd hate to someone uninstall that equipment. Let me if your interested buying this truck.

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
Ham Sexy #hamsexy in a 2022 Gen 14 Ford F-150 / Yaesu FTM-400XDR and Wouxun KG-1000G. Using two Compactennas mounted on the Bulletproof Diesel Third Brake Light Antenna Mount. The control heads are mounted onto the Pro Dash Mount from Builtright Industries.

The control head mounting plates and mic holders are from Lido Radio. The mounting hardware is a mix of both Lido Radio and Ram mounts using the B size ball which is plenty sturdy for these radios.

Using the 3.5 mm line outs (2 from the Wouxun KG-1000G and 1 from the Yaesu FTM-400XDR) that are routed to the small 4 channel passive (no power needed), which is then fed into a simple headphone amplifier.

The headphone amplifier audio and USB power cables routed to and coming out of the dashboard and plugged in to a simple FM transmitter that I have broadcasting to 87.9 FM.

So, the audio from all four VFOs are being heard from the stock Ford stereo which is tuned to 87.9 FM. No need for any extra speakers using this setup.

When a phone call comes in, all the radios are turned down and audio priority is set to the phone call. Normal radio operations resume after phone call has finished.

I've got the mixer levels set to about 80% on all three channels and the main output set to about 75%. The headphone amplifier is set to aprox 30%. The headphone amp is a good idea because you'll have a little loss in gain using any passive mixer, so this little amp provides plenty of gain to bring levels back up to normal.
