An online panel discussion for FE/HE tutors to explore the design challenge and its impact on the future talent pipeline.
Creative & Cultural Skills have teamed up with Welsh National Opera to deliver their Design Challenge 2023 for colleges and universities, giving students an opportunity to respond to a live industry brief and offering tutors in-person and online CPD.
During this online event, members of the Welsh National Opera shared insight into the WNO and the design challenge, while discussing elements of the upcoming competition which will be launching officially in late June 2022. We were joined by:
Darren Joyce, Managing Director of Cardiff Theatrical Services for Welsh National Opera
Jan Michaelis, Technical Director at Welsh National Opera
Robert Pagett, Head of Production at Welsh National Opera
The Welsh National Opera Design Challenge will run from January - March 2023, further details will be announced soon.
