Berkeley Hunt Boxing Day Meet Thornbury High Street 2021 (We Met The Funky Farmer)

Come with us for a little walk around the annual Boxing day hunt meet at Thornbury High Street. I didn't realise it had been 2 years since they last met here (due to Covid of course), it was really nice to see such a big turn out of happy people, horses and hounds😀

Unfortunately they only got to do one lap of the town this year as the hunt sabs decided to play 'chicken' with the horses, not something I can recommend anyone ever does! Thankfully the police were on site all day and kept the peace but the riders did not come around for their second lap, something that caused much disappointment from the spectators. But I did get some cracking footage of the horses charging up the high street on their first (I can honestly say that even I felt a little intimidated by the thunder of hooves flying past us! It was quite the thrill...)
