🎨 Commission Painting – To Keep or Not To Keep? 🎥
Today’s pour was a mixed bag, to say the least. I ran out of paint and should have had more flow extender (rookie mistake!), some of the lines bled more than I wanted, and parts of the piece started getting muddy. But even with all that, a few sections turned out really cool — bold, textured, and totally unexpected. I used so many different techniques! A swipe, a flip cup, AND a ring pour!
This one challenged me, but I’m not calling it a loss. I’m planning to try another version soon and let my client choose between the two. I’m also thinking about adding some embellishments to this one to bring out its strengths and give it a second life.
