Albufeira is a popular tourist destination located in the Algarve region of Portugal. The town has a charming old town area known as "Albufeira Old Town" or "Albufeira Historical Center." While Albufeira Old Town is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and historic architecture, it does not have a specific market within the old town area.
However, Albufeira does have a municipal market called "Mercado Municipal de Albufeira," which is located outside the old town, in the eastern part of the city. The municipal market is a great place to experience the local culture and find a wide variety of fresh produce, seafood, meats, cheeses, and other local products. It's a bustling market where locals and visitors can purchase ingredients for cooking, as well as enjoy traditional Portuguese snacks and drinks.
