Mobile health teams "are like mini clinics in a van." In the most remote areas of Afghanistan - like Daikundi Province in the central mountains - UNICEF supports these mobile health and nutrition teams to provide healthcare for those who cannot reach static facilities. With support from donors like the Government of Japan; the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO); the Government of Korea, the European Commission (ECHO); and the World Bank; in September 2022, more than 192,000 people were able to access these health services through mobile health and nutrition teams across the country.
