Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Michael Hannon, describes what to expect with outpatient knee surgery recovery with his Smith & Nephew CORI Robotic Assisted Surgery System at the Precision Outpatient Surgery Center in Beverly Hills, CA.
From the recovery room to being discharged, to post-operative visits and physical therapy, Hannon Orthopedics is committed to making sure their patients are recovering well.
Patients typically visit Hannon Orthopedics six weeks after surgery to assess their range of motion. And again, ensure that they're healing well. We'll see them again at the three-month mark after surgery to take a second postoperative x-ray and to assess their progress. And then we also typically see them six months after the surgery. And then at the one-year mark.
The Smith & Nephew Journey II BCS knee replacement features Oxinium technology using some of the most wear-resistant materials available.
