Trifari Jewellery Guide Part 1 - History, Authenticating and Spotting Fakes!

Do you collect vintage Trifari jewellery? In this video, we look at Trifari, one of the most iconic costume jewellery brands of the twentieth century. I cover key events from their impressive history, how Trifari's maker's mark changed over the decades and how you can use this to help you authenticate and date your pieces.

We also look at several other ways you can authenticate and date your Trifari pieces, such as looking at their designers' timeline - with the likes of Alfred Philippe, Andre Boeuf and Diane Philippe, to name just a few!

Also, how to find and check jewellery patents, vintage Trifari print advertisements, books and other online resources to research your pieces.

Lastly, we look at a fake Trifari item - or multiple listings for fakes - that I came across. We'll cover some of the key things to look out for to avoid accidentally buying a fake Trifari jewellery.
