Sci-fi scores have used large amounts of classical music over the years, using classical scores over any other kind of music, even when the use of other kinds of music, such as electronic music, seems more obvious. This video looks at sci-fi scores from films such as Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey to analyse why sci-fi scores are so classically influenced.
