Welcome to our off grid farm land in the mountains of South Africa where we are planning a backyard wedding for the spring of 2026. This week we tour our backyard and share our plans and ideas for this venue space for our wedding day on the 28th of August 2026. We are planning a very relaxed fun day with pic nic blankets and hat bale seating, we are going to build a dance floor and garden games to keep people entertained and so much more. We prune and maintained the citrus trees to promote upper growth, cut the grass and visit the magical wild flower fields that bloom across the mountains during this time of year. The colourful flowers only bloom once a year completely naturally, it is such a bucketlist experience to witness and we cannot wait to have all our friends and family here to celebrate with us!
