Welcome to Day 12 of our 25-Day Christmas Advent Watercolor Paint-Along!
Today we’re painting a festive gingerbread house, full of cozy details, colorful candy, and soft winter shadows. This one is such a favorite — playful enough for kids, but detailed enough to keep adults fully engaged.

Whether you’re painting along during homeschool, Christmas break, or a quiet evening with your sketchbook, this project is designed to be approachable, joyful, and a little magical.

🖌️ Supplies Needed

To paint along, you’ll need:
• 5x7 watercolor paper (preferably cotton, 140 lb)
• Brushes: medium-small round, small round, extra-small round
• Watercolor palette
(I’m using all the colors of the rainbow, plus burnt orange, Van Dyke brown, and Payne’s grey from my Master’s Touch 48-piece set)
• Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bleed Proof White
• Pencil & ruler
• Paper towel
• Cup of clean water
