Johanna Jansson är en sångerska och låtskrivare som tidigt började ägna sig åt musik. Redan i tioårsåldern skrev hon sin första låt ”Nobody Knows Me” på piano, och med kompisarna i skolan bildade hon gruppen Dizzy Woop.



År 2014 började hon skapa musik under artistnamnet ”Dotter”, ett artistnamn som är inspirerat av att hon ser sig som en ”dotter till moder jord”, med tanke på hennes starka engagemang för natur, djur och miljön. Hennes debutsingel blev ”My Flower”, och fyra år senare stod hon på Melodifestivalens scen för första gången med låten ”Cry”.
