Join two girls, Three and Stamp, as they take it in turns to ride the new Skyflyers swing at Asiatique The Riverfront in Bangkok. Three goes first and spends five minutes in pure terror as she faces her fear of heights. Next up is the much calmer Stamp, who has the misfortune of being seated next to a random screamer (the neighbours have even complained about the sound from the attraction running all day.
The swing is officially called Skyflyers: Wings of Garudapterus and it is found at the Asiatique attraction, south of the Chaophraya River. The structure is 135 metres tall (442ft) and reaches the same height as a 36-storey skyscraper. That makes it the highest in the Asia-Pacific region and among the top three highest in the world.
Tickets for Skyflers are priced from 320 baht (7.57 GBP) to 999 baht (23.64 GBP) for bundle packages covering additional rides at Asiatique.
