We had the pleasure of spending time with Zella (our amazing slate supplier), her brother Joaquim, and her son Miguel — the talented family behind our real slate chalkboards. Their craftsmanship and dedication are unmatched, and we’re proud to partner with them to create tools that help children learn and grow.
🪨 Yes, it’s real slate! These chalkboards are made from genuine rock, and the process is nothing short of incredible. From raw slate to finished product, every step is handled with care and precision.
✏️ For over 20 years, we’ve been selling around 80,000 chalkboards a year, helping kids develop handwriting skills with a product that’s both durable and thoughtfully designed. We’ve come a long way since Jan and I used a smiley face stamp in the corner!
