Testing Thrall turret mode on the Lost Colony map in ARK: Survival Ascended.
In this video, I finally find a practical use for Thralls on official servers:
Building a small trap base for Neophytes
Using Thralls in turret mode
Luring Neophytes into controlled fights
Testing real combat effectiveness
Farming Neophytes during night time
Between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM server time,
I manage to kill four Neophytes in a single night using this setup.
Thralls perform very well in this role, making turret mode
the most reliable and effective use I’ve found so far.
Loot is decent, with Neophyte horns being the most notable drop,
although their exact use is still unclear.
