Mounted a scope base on a Springfield Armory M1A and I stripped the bolt by following the instructions!!!

Tighten the "Attaching Bolt" to 30 inch-lb ONLY or you will strip the bolt!!! The instruction states 90-100"lb but DO NOT follow that torque specs!!!
