Welcome to our MACEDONIA TRAVEL DAY! Manchester Airport to Lake Ohrid.
Our new travel series where we visit the beautiful country of North Macedonia with the kids! North Macedonia really is the hidden gem of Europe, with stunning scenery, the crystal clear lake of Ohrid which is the one of the oldest and deepest lakes in Europe and rich history and architecture. It's a place you need to add to your bucket list for sure!

Part one is our travel day, and we arrive at Manchester airport in the early hours of the morning. We park at the usual spot—Terminal 2 Meet and Greet. It's so easy and convenient, and it's a great price, too. We board one of the smallest planes we've travelled on—a Boeing 737-800 —and then land at one of the smallest airports, with only one small carousel for our cases. It was an experience!

Hotel Izgrev in Struga was a fantastic hotel, with a waterpark and spa, it's fantastic for adults and children alike.
