It is an Assagai Multisport K1 made by Original Popes Canoe Centre from South Africa. I am told it is an intermediate multisport. It is about 5 m long and 48 cm wide. You would think it must be stable being 48 cm (18.9 in) but it isn't. This kayak rolls very easily and it makes the Fenn Mako Elite carbon (43 cm wide / 16.92 in) look super stable by comparison. Certainly the most tippy kayak I have ever paddled so far. The sitting position is relatively high and the funny thing is we can see the water through the hull, which I find fascinating. Never had that in any of my surfskis/kayaks!
I have to admit I quite enjoyed paddling it and I might even join a K1 club to improve.
