Polaris Outlaw Petcock Repair Part 1 Tank Designed For No Repairs Only Gas Tank Replacement

In this video I pretty much completely destroy my polaris outlaw 525 gas tank to try and remove the petcock system from the gas tank. Polaris designed the petcock system with a press in fitting that has teeth on it to bite the plastic one way which is for a petcock install. The bite of the insert cannot hold for removal of the gas tank as the teeth on the insert only go one way to secure the petcock for tightening. I did however this weekend shoot another video on me trying to repair the tank but i dont recommend anyone doing what i had to do to replace the petcock. It should only be done in a dire situation like a zombie apocalypse or a temporary repair to get down the road until a actual repair can be made. I wish i knew this before i started hammering and beating on the tank as I more than likely wouldve cut the petcock and bolts and then did the repairs in the next video. But i warped and deformed the plastic pulling on it and beating on it. So It was very hard to get a flat fix on installing the new petcock video will be next week.
