The great blues guitarist Eric Gales' 2022 album "Crown" went to #1 on Billboard's Blues Album chart, and was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Contemporary Blues Album". The cornerstone of that album was the single "I Want My Crown", which featured the legendary Joe Bonamassa dueling with Gales on their guitars.
At Cincinnati's intimate Ludlow Garage on December 12, 2025, Gales played "I Want My Crown" to a very appreciative crowd. The part that was played by Bonamassa on the single was performed by Trevor McKay. Eric introduced each member of his band at the end of the song.
