A Wonderful Alaska Cruise With American Cruise Lines - American Constitution Cruise Ship

This is episode #1 of the story of my 2025 Alaska cruise with American Cruise Lines.

The cruise ship was "American Constitution" and the itinerary was called "Alaska Explorer". The cruise started in Juneau, and finished ten days later in Juneau again. I spent two nights in a hotel before the cruise, so all together it was a 12-day Alaskan vacation for me.

I had four cameras with me! There was so much beautiful scenery throughout the entire cruise that I was able to come back with a huge amount of share-worthy video. So, if I had edited all of those individual video clips in to one YouTube video... it probably would have been an hour long. Too much to watch in one sitting! So, I'm breaking the story up in to several smaller videos, of which this is part 1... covering my pre-cruise adventures in Juneau, and then the first full day of cruising on the ship, which took us to the small town of Haines, Alaska.

In the next part of this video series you'll see an excursion I took to gorgeous Chilkoot Lake in Haines... one of the big highlights of the cruise, our day in Glacier Bay... and our cruise through the inside passage to Sitka.

My favorite parts of this video are the aerial shots from my drone. Unfortunately, there are a lot of places in Alaska where it is illegal to fly a drone. National parks and designated federal wilderness areas, for example. So, in many places I couldn't use the drone and had to shoot old-school style with one of the three other cameras I had with me.

American Cruise Lines is a company specializing in all-inclusive small-ship cruising to unique destinations within the USA... on American-made ships, with American crew members. Demand for these cruises within the USA, which do not even require a passport, has been soaring... causing American Cruise Lines to embark on a major expansion of their fleet in order to meet the demand.
