Well, that’s exactly what happened during my quick trip to Isla Carenero in Bocas del Toro, Panama. What started as an opportunity to explore Aqua Lounge, one of the best waterfront bars in Bocas Del Toro, took an unexpected detour when I wandered a little too far off the, let's call it, misleading path to the north side of the island.
In this video, I share my unexpected hike into a less-visited, impoverished part of Isla Carenero—where I quickly realized I wasn’t in the friendliest part of town. Spoiler alert: it turns out some places really aren’t meant for sightseeing. The experience was a wake-up call about the importance of trusting your instincts, even if it means missing out on that ‘perfect shot’ or spontaneous vlog moment.
