The Flaming Star Nebula, a Nordic Astrophotography Adventure

The Flaming Star Nebula, IC 405 is an emission and reflection Nebula in the constellation Auriga. I photographed the Flaming Star Nebula at a dark Nordic bortle 2 location not far from the Swedish - Norwegian border, in narrowband with the ZWO ASI 2600 MM. During the night I made a campfire and reflected about five years as an astrophotographer on YouTube as well as the historical landscape surrounding me. I also visited the nearby Tanum UNESCO World Heritage with 4000 years old rock carvings from the swedish bronze age.
