After Andy | Toy Story | Life After You (30th Anniversary)

THIS VIDEO IS NOT FOR KIDS!! It is a fan made music video for older adults. Happy 30th anniversary to Toy Story 1! I thought this would be the perfect time to upload it! I feel old! I uploaded this already today but I noticed something that got messed up and being a perfectionist, I wanted to fix it!

It's a remake of an old one I did around 2011 with the original song by Daughtry (sadly, it's no longer available) but I found this cover and just had to do it again! The old version was suggested by a friend of mine and I was amazed at how well the song fits Toy Story, especially Woody.

As Andy says, he's brave and kind and smart, but the thing that makes Woody special is he'll never give up on you.

Ever. He'll be there for you no matter what.

That is...until Toy Story 4. I was heartbroken and annoyed that once again, just like Hidden World with Toothless, that Woody decided to abandon his family to be with Bo. No matter how young she is, Bonnie is out of character to just lose interest in Woody so fast like that when she promised Andy that she'd take very good care of him.

I'll admit I haven't watched TS4 in its entirety yet and I'm not sure I ever will (I didn't even see it in theaters) but I obviously needed to add it in here or else the video wouldn't really feel complete xD I was mostly just scanning through the movie and listening for VOs I could possibly put in. And the ones I picked...hurt my heart to hear Woody say those words about being useless. It's so out of character for him to just give up on Bonnie and his family like that. I hope I showed that clearly enough in this vid, which I guess could be considered a character study. On the other hand while making this, I realized just how...exhausted Woody was, even though he didn't really have a reason to be.

"You're right, Prospector, I can't stop Andy from growing up, but I wouldn't miss it for the world!"

So he decides to miss the rest of Bonnie's childhood??

But whether Woody was right or wrong to stay with Bo at the carnival, that's up to you to decide.

AND NOW THEY'RE MAKING TOY STORY 5 FFS, LEAVE IT ALONE ALREADY!

One last thing, TS4 is absolutely terrifying to edit with if you're like me and have a major fear of dummies, another reason I refuse to watch the movie. OMG like every other scene I would unintentionally pause on one of the dummies and try not to run from the screen xD
