14 Bolt Axle Regear And Locker Install - JK 1 Ton Swap Video Series

In this video i show you step by step how to regear your 99-06 14 Bolt Rear Axle. This axle is also referred to as a GM 10.5
I am installing a set of 5.38 Yukon Gear and axle gears, thick cut. Im using the Grizzly locker, which is a auto locker that reuses the factory carrier. In order to reuse the factory carrier with an auto locker, you have to have an open carrier (limited slip carriers will not work).
Installing the new bearings and ring gear is pretty straight forward, however make sure you do it correctly!
After watching this video, if you think this is a job you want to tackle, i highly recommend reading the link at the bottom of this video description. This is not a hard job, but it needs to be done right, please take your time and make sure everything you do is within spec.
