Psalm 80

Restore us, O God—let Your face shine bright,
And we shall be saved by Your glorious light.

Shepherd of Israel, hear our plea,
You who lead Joseph like a flock through the sea.
Enthroned above the cherubim’s flame,
Shine forth Your glory, reveal Your name.

Stir up Your strength, come rescue Your own—
Do not leave Your people to suffer alone.

You fed us sorrow, a bitter bread,
Our neighbors mock us, lift their head.
We are a vine You planted with care,
Now broken, burned, exposed to the air.

Turn again, O God, look down from above—
Restore the vine You planted in love.

A vine from Egypt You brought to this land,
You cleared the nations with Your mighty hand.
It filled the mountains, it touched the sky,
But now it withers, and we ask You why.

Let Your hand be upon the one You choose—
Strengthen the people You refuse to lose.

We will not turn back if You give us life,
