Story:

In this universe, instead of starclan being one divine force, each clan worships their own goddess. In return, every generation the goddess’s choose champions among their clans. These champions are blessed with powers to aid their clanmates and strengthen allegiances with other clans or possibly defend against enemy clans.

The Riverclan champion is always a medicine cat. They can heal wounds with just running water. They can also hold their breath for up to an hour.

The shadowclan champion can become practically invisible at night. They are a deceptive keeper of the truth. The average will of a warrior is not strong enough to lie to them.

The Windclan champion has heightened senses and speed. A powerful hunter and fighter. The only cat who can find the shadowclan champion in its disguise.

The Thunderclan champion can summon rain, and in moments of strong emotion and willpower, thunder and lightning too.

The skyclan champion is bonded to a bird companion. They can see through the birds eyes and scout ahead long distances.

Many generations ago there was a fight between the gods. The Sky was struck down by The Shadow and fell from the heavens. Her powers lost seemingly forever. The River took to watching over Skyclan but she could not grant them the gifts that their beloved Sky did. Skyclan did not receive a champion for 5 generations.

Until one day a little screech owl visited a warrior called Ebonysky and began to speak to her.
