Ireland, Netherlands and Spain boycott Eurovision as Slovenia calls on Israel to withdraw

The Eurovision song contest has descended into chaos and uncertainty after Israel was given the OK to take part in next year's event.
Members of the European Broadcasting Union agreed in a secret ballot to admit Israel.
Slovenia, Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain immediately said they would pull out in protest over Israel's war in Gaza.
RTV Slovenia board chairwoman, Natalija Gorscak, called on Israel to withdraw so the four boycotting countries could take part.
