On the fourth day of the filariasis awareness campaign, we traveled to the remote parts of Kalimpong with my friend from WHO to check whether people had taken the medication. Ensuring that the medicine reached every individual, especially in far-off areas, was our priority.
During our visit, we interacted with the locals, verified the distribution, and emphasized the importance of taking the medicine for disease prevention. It was a fulfilling experience to see the community responding positively to the campaign.
After completing our work, we also took some time to visit a beautiful lake before heading back, making the journey even more memorable.
