2022 reports show that more than 3.45 million NEW vehicles and 1.19 used vehicles were exported overseas. The numbers are almost the same as 2021 exports although the average price of the used cars has increased by 25%. Russia turns to Japan for used car imports as domestic production slumps; totalling their imports as 207,642 a record high since 2009. The USA market is also increasing as the 25-year regulation is offering more choices for the buyers. Pakistan and Chile markets showed more than 40% decline.
